On Wednesday, July 16, The Greene Turtle will donate 20% of your purchase to Olney's 2014 National Night Out event. Sponsored by the Olney Chamber of Commerce, NNO is celebrated nationwide the first Tuesday of August, inspiring residents, businesses and local emergency responders to cooperate in the fight against crime and drug abuse. This year's event will be held on August 5, from 5-8:00 PM in the Fair Hill Shopping Center parking area. It will include police and fire department vehicles, SWAT Team demos, along with mounted police and canine units. There will be food, music, entertainment, kids games, exciting raffles, a photo booth, and even Child ID Kits prepared by the Secret Service.
