Bra-Vo! An Altered Bra Workshop

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we invite you to let your inner fashion designer loose!  Create an altered bra /wearable sculpture that reflects your creative spirit, be it classy, whimsical, burlesque or demure.

For inspiration, take a break and check out the Inner Light, a dozen sculptures of wearable art on exhibit, which include winners of the 2017 ManneqART competition.  Who knows?  Your Bra-Vo creation could be the beginning of a ManneqART entry for 2018.  All skill levels invited.

Supplies:
Bring a bra, of course, scissors, found objects, buttons, pretty paper, tiny kids’ toys, or any objects that could become part of your sculpture.  We will supply the torso, fabric, paint, ribbons, a shared stash of trinkets and found objects, and all types of adhesives that you might need for assembling your masterpiece.

Bring a brown bag lunch or pick up lunch near by.

This workshop will be led by Patti Euler of The Queen’s Ink.
