9-11 Remembrance

The Sandy Spring Volunteer Fire Department will host the 20th annual candlelight remembrance to honor the victims of September 11, 2011. The remembrance will be held 7 to 8 p.m. the intersection of Georgia Avenue (Rt. 97) and Olney-Laytonsville Road (Rt. 108) on Friday, Sept. 11. . All are invited to attend. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate face coverings, utilize social distancing, and to bring your own candle.
