5:30PM Bus Rapid Transit Study

Want to know more about the proposed Express Bus Lanes running between MedStar Montgomery General Hospital and the Wheaton Metrorail Station?  Will a BRT lower traffic congestion?  Bring commercial opportunities to the Olney area?  Improve the travel experience between Olney and Wheaton, and perhaps on to DC?  Will project funding impact Olney area business owners and residents?

On Wednesday, May 14, the MD State Highway Administration, MD Transit Administration, and Montgomery County DOT invite anyone interested to attend a meeting to voice project-related comments, hear a review of the project planning process, their Purpose and Need Statement, and up to date study findings.  There is NO Formal Presentation.  You may arrive at any time and walk through the Workshop at your own pace.

The Workshop will be held in the John F. Kennedy High School cafeteria, 1901 Randolph Road, Silver Spring, MD 20906.
